Jet Flow Diffuser
Jet Flow Diffuser
Jet flow diffusers provide a cost-effective option for handling high volumes of air where extended throw distances are required. They are particularly suitable for large indoor areas such as auditoriums, exhibition halls, convention centers, and similar wide-open facilities.
Construction
These diffusers are manufactured from durable steel. The outer ring is mounted on a gimbal mechanism, allowing movement in one direction, while all inner rings rotate on an axis perpendicular to it. The inner ring assembly pivots on two steel bolts fitted with nylon sleeves, ensuring stable tension and allowing smooth rotation across a 60-degree range.
Models with 6″, 8″, and 10″ neck diameters feature two rotating inner rings and one fixed outer ring. Additional inner rings are added for larger neck sizes, with the 6″ version incorporating five inner rings. Multiple jet diffusers can also be installed together on panel systems.
Performance
Jet flow diffusers are engineered for high-ceiling environments or spacious areas where long-distance air projection is needed. They supply air directly into the occupied zone without significant temperature loss in the upper levels of the space, ensuring efficient cooling or heating delivery.
Size Availability
Metal jet diffusers are offered in neck diameters of 150, 200, 250, 300, 350, and 400 mm for both sidewall and ceiling mounting.
Opposed-blade dampers can be added when volume control is required, effectively converting the units into adjustable registers.
Features:
-
Extended air throw achieved through a set of concentric cylindrical rings.
-
Effective ventilation and air-conditioning of far-reaching zones.
-
Adjustable jet direction, with up to 30° swivel movement in any direction.
-
Long throw capability reduces the overall load on the ducting system finish.
-
All jet diffusers are coated with a durable powder-coat finish.
